Finally, I went to Japan... yeay!
You don't believe me? Hehe...
Well, my friends and I merely went to a place that was full of Japanese culture, named Japanese World. It took place in Unair on 8-9 February 2014 from morning 'till afternoon. It was all 'bout Japan. You would be greeted with a red Japanese gate complete with its post box and lampion.
The yard are used to sell clothes, accessories, books and so forth. You could also guess your future by playing tarot card., if you believe it. For me, it was just a game.
Then, there were lots of food stalls in the parking area. We were confused to choose the food we wanted to eat. We looked around to each of the stall and decided to buy sushi and ramen burger. They were osihi. So delicious...
You know, there was an amusing experience when we visited ramen burger stall. There was a girl and three boys in kimono. The boys were the ones who cooked the food. They were just like Nihon jin (Japanese people). At that time, we were wondering whether they were Indonesian or Japanese. This stall was impressive. When we came, they shouted "Irassaiamasen..." which means "Welcome". After that, when we already got the food, they said "Arigatou gozaimashu..." means "Thank you".
Next, when we entered the building of faculty of humanity, we were greeted with sakura tree. We also found two imitation trees of sakura trees in right side.
At left, we saw a stall which promote Japanese writing either in Hiragana, Katakana or Kanji. Also, right in the center, we could see a stall which sells books 'bout how to study in Japan. When we passed the second floor, we saw a tree full of paper wish. it was a tree which was used as a place to ask for your hope. I read one of them. It was written, "The one who takes my paper wish will have no offspring 'till 300.000 generations." What a threat! LOL. :D

Finally, in the third floor, we found four rooms which offered Japanese cultures. They were ocha room, yukata room, origami room and the house of ghost. Ocha room was a room that taught you how to drink Japanese tea well. Of course, to drink tea in Japan is not as simple as you drink tea in Indonesia. There are some ceremonial steps that you must do before you drink it. The tea is bitter and usually you will get a piece of cake to neutralize the taste of the tea. Then, you could take pictures in yukata, a Japanese traditional clothe, with Japanese scenery background. In origami room, you could learned how to fold the paper into different forms. Lastly, in house of ghost, I thought you could guess what you could do there. Yup, say "Moshi-moshi" (hello) to the Japanese ghost, please... =B
It was all sooo Japanese. Daisuki desu. ;)
Let's go there again next year... I'm waitin' for it.
