...and the winner is,,7th C grade.
The idea of this garden was coming from Arifa. She wanted to
make it into two parts. Next, put a bridge of bamboo between those two. Another
student put a big stone in the middle of the two where you could sit on it. Beside
the big stone was the tallest tree belong to Wina.
So, that afternoon we arranged the pots that the students brought
after they went home. Some students and I arranged the right side of the
garden. I, then, arrange the big pot in the centre of the garden and put the
smaller ones next to it. The children put the stones and pebbles aroud it. Made
the garden into triangle shape. And the left side was arranged by the other
students. They made it into half-round and put the paving stone around it.
After that, the plants was arranged in circle.
“Mam, the juries can sit down on this big stone under the
tall tree to take picture,” said Hilmi while sitting on the stone.
The next day when I came into the class, the students made a plank from ceramic. It was written “7th C garden” in 3 languages, English, korean and jawa hanacaraka. They also used the roofs to save the plants and as the decoration. Then, they was sitting outside the class. They said, “Let’s pray outside. We wanna enjoy the garden.” Even they studied in front of the class that day. Woo, it seemed that they liked the garden very much. Well, to be honest, me too. The garden looked nice to us.
Finally, when the announcement was announced in ceremony, the children was so happy coz they were the winner. They got a charter and some snacks. Well-done girls! I’m proud of you...
